We are pleased to introduce our new artist in residence!
Photography and visual storyteller, Amy Romer, will be working with students from Junior Kindergarten - Grade 12 throughout Term 2. This is the third year that SJS has hosted an Artist-in-Residence.
Ms. Romer is an experienced photo journalist who has worked for news outlets, magazines and organizations around the world, including National Geographic, Greenpeace, The Guardian, the University of British Columbia and many more. She will be working with students to integrate visual storytelling into their learning and build on the curriculum.
We are very excited to welcome Ms. Romer to SJS and look forward to sharing the many ways she will be sparking curiosity and creativity in our students.
Our Artist in Residence initiative is made possible by our Annual Giving funding programme.
