Art for a Cause is a co-curricular offered to Grade 4 students this term. In this programme, students use different mediums to create art pieces that are then distributed to various people in the community.
Recently, students have been learning how to create Zentangles: an unplanned art style where the artist focuses on each stroke without worrying about the final result. As in life, there are no erasers in Zentangle art. Instead of viewing mistakes as a negative, the Zentangle artist is encouraged to use them as inspiration to explore new directions.
Students are creating 'Zentangle Colouring Book' that other students can use in their downtime to relax.
