THE ARTS AND SCIENCE CENTRE UPDATE

We are thrilled to have opened our Arts and Science Centre! Students moved into the new facility in December 2018 and have begun to take advantage of the specialized spaces.

The Arts and Science Centre adds 23,000 square feet to our facility. New visual and performing arts studios, science laboratories, a learning commons, MYP homerooms, language classrooms and the rooftop garden provide outstanding academic, co-curricular and social space for our students.

The Arts and Science Centre was made possible through our Capital Campaign and was delivered on time and on budget.

JUNIOR SCHOOL RENOVATION

10/03/2018

The renovation of our Junior School facilities began in June with updates to the second and third floors. We have changed the HVAC unit to improve air quality, lower energy costs and reduce noise. We have also replaced the current windows with those that open, contain UV protection and are energy efficient. The lockers were relocated along the perimeter in front of the classrooms and we created an open, collaborative common area in the centre of each floor.

Student drop-off and pick-up is limited in the areas around the school and this may cause some traffic difficulties in the neighbourhood. If you have children in Grade 6 to 12, please drop-off and pick-up your son or daughter at a location a block or two away from the front of the school and avoid the congestion altogether. If your children are younger, please allow more time for your commute to the school.
