Junior School

The success of our Imagine. Inspire. Create. Capital Campaign continued with the renovation of our Primary Years Programme facilities, completed in the summer of 2019. The Junior School houses our Junior Kindergarten - Grade 5 students.
The lockers were relocated along the perimeter in front of the classrooms and we created an open, collaborative common area in the centre of each floor. The Junior Kindergarten room was relocated beside the courtyard and we built a Junior School library and Learning Support Centre.

We changed the HVAC unit to improve air quality, lower energy costs and reduce noise. We also replaced the windows with energy efficient windows that open. Classroom lighting is now energy efficient and easier on our learners’ eyes.
With our Grade 6 and 7 classes now in the Arts and Science Centre, we have more space in the Junior School for experiential learning, language acquisition, collaboration and teacher preparation.

The transformation of our Junior School allows our facility to better mirror our philosophy of supporting children with collaborative activity, creative thinking, open communication and independent exploration.
