  • 1. Discover

    We encourage you to view our website, attend an Open House and go on a personal tour of the school to begin learning more about St. John’s School.
  • 2. Apply

    Complete the online application form and upload supporting documents by December 3, 2018. Late applications may be considered. Please contact the Admissions Office.

    Begin the application process by clicking on the Apply Now button and creating a profile on the school’s portal. Once your profile has been completed, you will be sent a confirmation email with instructions on how to login and start the application. If you need help going through the online application, please refer to our Applying to St. John's School guide.

    A completed Application contains the following elements:

    • $250 application fee
    • Copy of your child's proof of citizenship (birth certificate, Permanent Resident card)
    • Copy of parents' proof of citizenship (birth certificate, passport, Permanent Resident card)
    • Copy of your child's BC Care Card
    • Passport size photo of applicant
    • Copies of the past two years report card including the most recent
    • Reference letters
    Note that not all of these items need to be on-hand when you submit the application form. After the application form has been completed, you will be asked to upload these documents to your child's candidate profile.
  • 3. Student Visit and Assessment

    We encourage all applicants to attend our Open House and to have a private tour. All students will be invited to visit St. John’s and complete an assessment.
  • 4. Family Interview

    Shortlisted candidates and their parents may be invited to attend an interview with a member of the school administration. The purpose of the family interview to provide an opportunity for St. John’s to get to know each family and for a family to ask any questions they may have.
  • 5. Decisions

    All applicants will be notified of our early decision offers by February 1, 2019. Students who are offered a place will be asked to accept and secure their place with the payment of the new student registration and enrollment fee.

    If a student meets the criteria but no space is available, a student will be placed in a wait pool. In the event that a space becomes available, all applications in the wait pool will be considered and a place will be offered to the most suitable candidate.

    All other decisions will be communicated by March 2019.
